Somatic Healing Therapy 

I help my clients connect to their inner wisdom and become the healers of their own lives. Together, we listen to the stories, beliefs, feelings and sensations that can make us feel stuck and unhappy. I guide you to access your body and subconscious programming so you can begin to connect to not only the parts of you that are unhappy, fearful, stuck, anxious, depressed, hopeless and sad but the parts that contain trust, joy, freedom, peace, excitement, love, peace and spaciousness. 

The stories often get stuck in us- in our cells, in our muscles, tissues and bones. This unhelpful storytelling often gets trapped inside of us. The next thing you know, we’re operating our lives from this faulty and painful programming. It can become imprinted into us and then held and stored in the nervous system. Ready to be repeated in our daily habituations.

What happens in a somatic therapy session that is different from regular therapy? 

Somatic Therapy involves present-moment awareness and explores bodily tension, gestures, and bodily sensations through a combination of awareness, dialogue, movement, and/or touch. Through connecting and listening to the messages carried in the body, clients are guided to choices that support their moving with more ease and freedom in their lives.
